There are approved and adopted certain regulations governing the subdivision of land located within the City of Wakefield, Kansas, and certain surrounding areas designated therein, and as previously made subject to the jurisdiction of the City Planning Commission by Ordinance No. 1035 for such purposes and prepared, in book form, as model regulations by the City Attorney of said city under date of May 1, 1981, and as adopted by the Planning Commission of the City of Wakefield, Kansas, and the same is hereby declared to be approved and incorporated by reference as fully as if set out herein. Not less than three copies of the Subdivision Regulations for the City, of Wakefield, Kansas, in book form marked “Official Copy as Incorporated by Ordinance No. 1111” shall be filed with the City Clerk to be open for inspection and available to the public at all reasonable hours.

Pursuant to K.S.A. 12-710, any violations of this Article shall be considered violations for each day on which they exist after written notice by the City to the last known address of the owner or occupant of said property on which said violation exists and shall be punishable by a fine of not less than Five Dollars ($5) nor more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per day per violation thereof plus the costs of the action. The City shall have further remedies seeking injunctions to either prevent the violation of this Article or seek the correction of any violations under this Article.

Any provision of this Article which shall be declared to be invalid shall not affect the validity and authority of any other sections of this Article.
